I've variously used auto body putty and green stuff, which works, but the melted sprue might well blend better.<br /><br />But the problem with the policeman wasn't so much that I couldn't fill the gap as it was that after I filled it his shoulders looked . . . impossible. Too long and narrow and oddly shaped. (Essentially the arms are spread a little too wide for the torso.)<br /><br />In retrospect what I should have done is probably cut all the fitting pegs off all the miniatures, slice the arms apart (they're cast together) and hand fit them.
